There was a small surprise in Samokov where BulgarianRilski edged Polish Start 95-92 on Wednesday. Rilski looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rilski made 7 blocks. American point guard Kamau Stokes (183-1995, college: Kansas St.) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Hristo Bachkov (200-2004, agency: BIG) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Stokes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. American forward Tevin Mack (201-1997, college: Clemson, agency: MSG) responded with 29 points and 5 assists and South Korean-American center Bryan Griffin (203-1998, college: Xavier) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
